Sichuan Magic - Dainty Sichuan Food's New Address

While doing our research to update our database with restaurants in Melbourne, we found out that one of the restaurants we love has moved.

Dainty Sichuan Food used to be at 26 Corrs Lane, Melbourne but they have moved to 176 Toorak Road, South Yarra (Flower Harbour used to be at 176 Toorak Road). The food is still as good and spicy - since it's still the same owner and same chef. However, they now also have a choice of doing hotpot in the restaurant.

The next day burning sensation is still as strong! They retained their old menu - so everything that you liked when they were at 26 Corrs Lane, you will be able to order it at the new location.

As usual, we tend to order too much and in the end we had to takeaway for lunch and dinner the next day. We didnt want to waste food although the next day, really, my stomach was not agreeing with me! We tried the hotpot and ordered fish, beef, pork. So instead of the spicy fish that they cook for you previously, you can cook it yourself in the hot pot. Another dish we loved, the fried eggplant with fish paste. It's not that oily considering it's deep fried.

It's still as busy as ever, so if you like to go there for dinner, please do not forget to give them a call for table reservations! Their new number is 03-9078 1686. The open everyday except Tuesdays!

Almost there - www.bookeat.com.au

After several months of sweat and blood (not literally), finally the website is almost up! We are still in the midst of ensuring everything is working properly before we launch it!

We know that everyone loves to eat! And people simple love to dine out and explore new dining places to tease their palates. With so many restaurants in Melbourne alone - both existing and budding restaurants, how can we decide where to go? Where do we even start? Well, start at www.bookeat.com.au (once the website is up of course), and read about people's experience.

Bookeat is not just an ordinary website with "restaurant related" information - bookeat.com.au pride itself as a hub for food lovers to come together and discuss, review and rave about their dining experience.

Stay tune and will update you again once it's up - Our target is Early October 2009....

bookeat - The Idea

bookeat is a website with information of the best restaurants in Melbourne. Visitors to bookeat can leave comments about restaurants that they have dined in. Therefore, you can read about the restaurants and decide if you would like to try it. It will be a good way where everyone can learn from each other's dining experience.

Melbournians who plan for special occasions can research at our website by reading the reviews made by other patrons before making dinner reservations. We would not want special occasions
like anniversaries and birthdays to be ruined by bad service or horrible food.

I will let you know once the website is up so that you can log on it and let us know what you think about the restaurants that you have dined in.

bookeat - the guide to eating in Melbourne

Melbournian enjoys eating out every day and night. We thought it will be a good idea to start an eating guide for Melbourne restaurants. At bookeat.com.au, we will be posting information about restaurants in Melbourne and the website allows you to post your reviews. Please let us know what you think about the restaurants.

bookeat.com.au is currently under construction. While waiting for the website to complete, we thought it would be a great way to start a blog here to update you on the progress of our website.
